Marie DiOrio

Marie DiOrio 77, of West Harrison, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. died on July 1, 2019. She was born on Dec. 29, 1941 to the late Joseph and Carmela (nee Pannitti) DiOrio in Bronx, N.Y. She was a retired cashier with Modern Supermarket in Bronx, N.Y. She had a heart of gold and was a very generous person. Marie is survived by her loving sister, Terry (Jerry) Ciufo of Thornwood, N.Y. also survived by her niece, Maria Elena Williams and nephews, Angelo Ciufo and Jerry Jo (Leonor) Ciufo and seven great nieces and nephews and one great great niece and many cousins. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. (No Visiting on Thursday) Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM.
