Maria Pados

Maria Pados, age 78, died peacefully on January 21, 2018 surrounded by loving family after a struggle with cancer. Maria was born March 6, 1939 in Zalaber, Hungary, the daughter of Jozsef and Maria Torma. She is predeceased by her sister Rozsi. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Istvan, her children Stephen and his wife Andrea, Christopher and Veronica and her husband Rocky, and loving grandchildren, Ashley, Stephanie, Matthew and Daniella. She is fondly remembered for her love and devotion to her family, and friends. Maria enjoyed cooking and baking, especially with her grandchildren. She was an avid lover of animals, dogs being her favorite. To honor Maria's life, family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home "Elmsford Chapel", 72 East Main Street, Elmsford, NY.
