Family Tribute

We honor our mother, grandmother, and best friend with immense pride.

Margarita came from Honduras to the United States with courage, hope, and an unshakable determination to create a better life for herself and for our family. She carried her roots with her wherever she went, never forgetting where she came from, and she taught us the meaning of sacrifice, hard work, and perseverance. Everything she did was rooted in love for her family, and because of her strength, generations after her stand on firmer ground.

Margarita Woolcock was the heart and matriarch of our family. She was our foundation, our guide, and our constant source of strength. Everything we are today is rooted in the love, sacrifice, and resilience she poured into each of us.

She carried our family through generations with quiet determination and unwavering devotion. Whether through her words, her actions, or simply her presence, Margarita ensured that the family was always supported, protected, and loved. She believed deeply in unity, hard work, and standing together-values that continue to shape our lives.

Her legacy lives on not only in our memories, but in the lives she helped build, the paths she helped clear, and the strength she instilled in all of us. We are who we are because of her.

She was, and will always be, the heart of our family.

Life of Service & Devotion

Margarita devoted her life to caring for others, both at home and beyond. She proudly worked at the State of New York Developmental Disabilities Services Office, where she served faithfully for 33 years. Her work was more than a career; it was an extension of who she was-compassionate, patient, and deeply committed to helping those in need.

Every role she held, whether as a professional, a mother, or a grandmother, was guided by love, responsibility, and grace.

Life Beyond Work

In her spare time, Margarita found joy in the simple things that made life feel full. She loved being surrounded by family, watching cooking shows and game shows, and sharing laughter around the television.

One of her favorite pleasures was enjoying Cajun snow crab legs, a meal that became a cherished family memory in itself.

Those moments remain with us.

Her life reminds us that bravery does not always arrive loudly. Sometimes it comes quietly, carrying a family forward.
