Marcelino Ridao Castor of Maragondon, Cavite, Philippines joined the Lord on December 11, 2016 in White Plains, NY at the age of 83.

Born on July 17, 1933, he was the son of Carlos Castor and Celerina Ridao. Marcelino proudly served 28 years in the United States Coast Guard from 1955 to 1984. He also served as a Merchant Marine during the Gulf War. Thereafter he resumed his educational pursuits at Lacson College in Manila, Philippines and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce.

Marcelino was a brother of the Masonic Lodge of Mt Mainam No. 49. He was an avid fisherman and competitive bowler. He enjoyed family game nights, table tennis, billiards and poker games with his daughters.

Marcelino is survived by his wife of 55 years, Angelina N. Castor, his four daughters, Maria Lina C. Montoya (married to Inocencio Montoya), Dr. Maria Theresa C. Vinluan (married to Dr. Joselito Vinluan), Maria Fe C. Davis (married to Christian Davis) Maria Gracia C. Malimban (married to Roel Malimban) and ten grandchildren, Marc Davis, Christopher Montoya, Joseph Vinluan, Romel Malimban, Matthew Vinluan, Maria Gabriella Montoya, Robyn Malimban, William Vinluan, Daniel Vinluan and Dominic Davis.

Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 535 Ashford Avenue, Ardsley, NY 10502.
