"Maddy" Montuoro, nee Scorca, passed away peacefully after being surrounded by her family, on November, 28th, 2025 in Northern Westchester Hospital.
Born on May, 23rd, 1929, in the Bronx to Angelo and Cecelia Scorca, (Boffoli). She leaves a daughter, Terry and her son-in-law, Michael Michelotti. A devoted grandmother to three, Jennifer and husband, Terry lindi and Amy Michelotti. She was predecessed by her beloved grandson, Jimmy Michelotti in 2004. That was her greatest loss.
She was proud of six great-grandchildren, Victoria and husband Noah, (Aspel). J.T.and Taylor Lindi, Gianna and Michael Salerno, and her little shadow, Joey (Venuti). She was his "grandma Maddy"!
Maddy loved decorating and she was a little OCD with cleaning! Her house was always spotless and picture perfect. Even at 96, you could eat off her floors! She only mellowed a little when she moved into her daughter's home with three great-grandkids and two dogs!
She was a collector of clocks. All chimming minutes apart. She took great pleasure in her grandfather and wall clocks.
She loved telling stories about growing up in the Bronx with her five sisters and two brothers. How she walked to the movies and got in for $.10 and saw two movies! She talked often about her adventures with her two best friends, Marie and Louise. She was very lonely when they passed.
She longed to talk to them .
She will be remembered always for her "S" cookies and zucchini fritters. The holidays will never be the same but we will keep all her traditions for generations to come. She will never be forgotten.
