Maddalena Orlanda Lombardi

Maddalena (Orlanda) Lombardi 85, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Mt.Vernon, N.Y. died on May 17, 2010 at White Plains Hospital Center. She was born on Feb. 22, 1925 to the late Giuseppe and Clementina (nee Ramundo) Castelli in Casalciprano Campo Basso, Italy. She was a seamstress and worked at various dress factories. Maddalena was an avid cook and baker and loved to crochet and read. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Donato Lombardi in 1998 and her brother Sauro Castelli and her sister Severina Lombardi. Maddalena is survived by her loving daughter Brigida Colitto and her husband Michael of Thornwood, N.Y. Her two cherished granddaughters Mary Boselli and her husband Joseph of Eastchester, N.Y. and Michelle Colitto of Thornwood, N.Y. and three great grandchildren; Phillip and Daniel Cohen and Alexandra Boselli.
