Lucy Anzovino

Our mother, Lucy Anzovino passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2017.  She was our matriarch, our heart and our soul.  She embraced life with enthusiasm, strength and great joy every single day of her 95 years on earth.  Family was always first. She was and will always be our guiding light providing unconditional love and support. She touched and enriched so many lives. Her children and our families were the center of her life as she was to us.  We celebrate that honor. Her children: Joseph (Kathy), Maria (Frank) Palmentiero and Amelia (Phil) Scordo. Her grandchildren:  Marisa (Joe) Suarez, Alex Scordo (fiancé Marina), Jennifer Palmentiero, Keith Palmentiero, Michele (Ned) Muratovic and Nicole Anzovino.  Her great-grandchildren:  Izabella Muratovic, Dylan and Serena Suarez. We celebrate her reunion in Heaven with family and friends who have passed. Especially her husband Fioravante, her parents Annamaria and Florindo, brothers Florindo and Gino, sister Yolanda, brothers-in-law Luigi and Armando and her great-granddaughter Monique. We celebrate her life with her surviving brothers, sisters and their children:  Luciano (Maria) Volpacchio, Leonilda Volpacchio, Elvira Fantacone, Giovanni (Carmelina) Volpacchio, Elisa Volpacchio, Angelina Di Biase, John Di Lella, Carmelina (Carmine) Fiero. We loved her and will miss her – Rest in Peace. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-5 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, on Monday at 10AM.
