Lucille Salamida

Lucille Salamida 71, of Somers, N.Y. and formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Oct.28, 2015. She was born on Nov.2, 1943 to the late Sam and Florence Orza in Bronx, N.Y. Lucille was s retired secretary with the Town of Mt.Pleasant for many years. She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Salamida of Somers, N.Y. and by her loving children, Michael Salamida of Chappaqua, N.Y. and Lisa (Frank) Cerone of Alpharetta, GA and by her beloved brother, Michael Orza of Bedford Hills, N.Y. also survived by her five cherished grandchildren, Hanna, Elizabeth and Catherine Salamida and Daniel and Carly Cerone. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday (today) 2-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM.
Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
