Lois S. McCarthy

Lois S. McCarthy 56, affectionately  known as Aunt Lois, of White Plains and formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. died unexpectedly on Nov. 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born on Nov.30, 1961 to the late Thomas and Mary Joan (nee Decker) McCarthy in Queens, N.Y. She was an Employment Placement Advisor with Paxxon Corp. in White Plains, N.Y. Lois was a graduate of Westlake High School, Class of 1979 and continued to be a strong supporter of all Athletic Activities within the Sherman Park Little League and Westlake High School Sports in Mount Pleasant. She was very beloved and will be deeply missed by all her friends from the Sherman Park Little League and Westlake Communities in Mount Pleasant. Lois is survived by her brother, Kevin (Esther) McCarthy of Lake Forest, CA and also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 3-7 PM. Where funeral services will take place at 6 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sherman Park Little League 980 Bway, Suite 226, Thornwood, N.Y. 10594 would be appreciated.
