Lisbeth Rosa

Lisbeth Rosa 93, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Mt.Vernon, N.Y. died on Nov.6,20022 at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. She was born on Sept.2,1929 to the late Paul and Martha (nee Zuhmann) Goldau in Rastenburg, East Prussia, Germany. Lisbeth was predeceased by her devoted husband, Oswald Rosa in 1989 and also predeceased by her beloved sons, Louis Rosa in 1992 and Michael Rosa in 2015. She is survived by her loving children, Deborah (Kevin) Lilly of Thornwood, N.Y. and grandchildren, Patrick and Elisabeth. Rick (Noreen) Rosa of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by other grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially, Paula (Stuart) Miller and their children, Alex and Jayla. Also predeceased by her seven siblings, Anton, Paul, Bruno, Margarete, Hildegarde, Lisolette and Anni. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov.8,2022 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday, 9:45 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
