Linda Sue Mooney

March 10, 1943 - April 29, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Mooney on April 29, 2026, at the age of 83. She was surrounded by her family at NY Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, when God called her home.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Linda was a force to be reckoned with! She was fun, fierce, loyal, and LOVED! She was the biggest cheerleader to her whole family and her close friends. She was a business owner and saleswoman, who had a good eye for design. She was also an amazing cook and loved a good glass of wine.

She is predeceased by her twin sister, Lucille Hoffmann. Linda is survived by her devoted husband of over 60 years, James, and her sister Rosemarie McMorrow.

Linda was a proud and loving mother to Craig (Meagan)Mooney, Debra (Paul) LaCava, Tina Riddle (Andrew Phegley) and Jimmy (Meghan) Mooney She was also a cherished grandmother to ten wonderful grandchildren -- Jake, Sean, Brooke, Caitlin, Paige, Danny, Logan, Kendall, Parker, and James, whom she lived her life for.

Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. - Parish of St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus - 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510
