Lillian Fleming, of Athens, New York, formerly of Valhalla, New York, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family in North Carolina at the age of 94 on February 13, 2026. Born in New York City to Harry and Louise Viebrock, she was raised in Yonkers, New York. Lillian attended Roosevelt High School. She married Robert C. Fleming on February 1, 1953.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert C. Fleming, Sr., her loving son, Robert C. Fleming, Jr. and her sister, Irene Day. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon Tedesco and her son-in-law David Tedesco, daughter-in-law, Mary Fleming, her treasured six grandchildren, Tara Tedesco Zimmermann (sp. Kurt), Ashley Tedesco, Cory Tedesco, Michael Fleming, Mark Fleming (sp. Lindsay), and Lauren Fleming, as well as two great-grandchildren, Christopher Fleming and Maximus Zimmermann.

Lillian enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and sitting on her deck soaking up the sun while watching the river activity and reading a book. Time playing card games and doing puzzles with her grandchildren made her happy. She was a kind, sweet person who was loved by many.
