Lee Gallowitz

Lee Gallowitz 95, of Yonkers, NY passed away on Feb. 28, 2019. Lee was born on May 29, 1923 to the late Giuseppe and Emanuela (nee Pinelli) DePietri in New York City. Lee was a longtime New York Yankees fan who never missed a game.  Lee was a kind hearted, strong and independent woman who passed away as she lived her life. She is survived by her three loving children Chris (Helen) Gallowitz of Sewickley, PA, Andrea Phillips of Wheaton, IL and Barbara (Melissa Rangell) of Deer Park, NY. She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren. Lee was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Monday 10 AM. Interment to follow.
