Lee Corcoran-Franco

d. March 7, 2018

Hawthorne

Lee Corcoran-Franco from Thornwood, NY entered into eternal life on March 7th.  She had a heart as big as the sky with great compassion, forgivingness and mercy to all who knew her.  She is survived by her loving and caring husband Albert whose heart is broken.  She courageously battled Diabetes for over 60 years, a model for her tenacity and perseverance.   Unconditional and long-suffering love came easy for her as she cared deeply about another person’s struggles and always acted lovingly and compassionately toward them.  Lee always tried to help the less fortunate and needy.  A preconceived notion about someone was always unacceptable to her as she always would say that you don’t know what’s going on in their life and that we are to just do the right thing.  She accepted without complaint the many physical crosses she carried throughout her life, always placing them in the hands of our lord.  Lee is also survived by family that includes her sister-in-law Helen Conover, nephew Chuck (Christina) Conover, and nieces Debbie (Larry) Klig, Gail Conover and Theresa (Kevin) Klis. also survived by niece, Christine Corsaro and her husband, Mario and their children, Mario, Jr. and Christopher. Great aunt to Justin, David, Amanda, Christopher, Meghan, Lauren and Andrew. She loved us all deeply and dearly and will be sorely missed by each and every one of us.  Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, NY on Wednesday 10:30 AM. Interment, Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY to Follow.
