Lawrence (Larry) Byrne, of White Plains, New York passed away on August 19, 2019. Born in County Carlow, Ireland on July 27, 1945, to Margaret and Laurence Byrne, Larry had eight siblings - Joe (pre-deceased) Mary, Kathleen, Kevin, Andrew (pre-deceased), Frankie (pre-deceased), Eileen and Jimmy (pre-deceased). Larry grew up in the Bronx, New York, attended Fordham University and worked as an auditor. He began working at the New York City Housing Authority and then moved to the New York Power Authority. He retired from there but continued to work for a few more years at Bronxworks Organization. Larry enjoyed golfing, watching historical documentaries, and listening to music, especially doo-wop, jazz, and rhythm & blues. He loved being a father to son James Patrick, age 23. He is survived by him and wife, Joanne, along with many loving family members including Carmen, Larry Fox, and his many nieces and nephews. Larry was a kind, generous, supportive friend to all with whom he came in contact!
