Lawrence Adams

Lawrence Adams 84, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on April 9,2022 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. He was born on Feb.18,1938 to the late Albert and Pearl (nee McDonald) Adams in Stamford, CT. He was a retired Director of Operations with the Mount Vernon US Postal Service Sectional Center. He loved spending time with his family along the Sea Coast of New Hampshire, he also loved his animals and vegetable garden. Lawrence was predeceased by his beloved wife, Louise Anne (nee McDermott) Adams in 2021 and one sister and is survived by his loving children, Timothy (LouAnn) Adams of Brewster, N.Y., Lawrence Adams of Putnam Valley, N.Y., Lori-Jean (Richard) Rooney of Brewster, N.Y. and Kelly-Anne (Steve) Carl of Henderson, NV. Also survived by his six cherished grandchildren, Kevin Joseph (Hillary) Adams, Michael Lawrence (Lisa) Adams, Emily Louise Adams, Matthew Lawrence Rooney, Kaitlyn Rose (Andy) Rooney and Jason Adams. Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, April 21,2022 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to any ASPCA Chapter in Westchester, would be appreciated.
