Laura Prospero

Laura Prospero 74, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Nov.1,2022 at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mt.Kisco, N.Y. She was born on April 20,1948 in L’Aquila, Italy to the late Angelo and Elda (nee Santilli) D’Antonio. She was an avid cook and baker who was loved by all who knew her and was considered a “Superwomen”. Laura is survived by her devoted husband, Umberto Prospero of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by her loving children, Ralph (Erica) Prospero of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y., Angela Prospero (Nino Cambareri) of Katonah, N.Y. and Laura (Joseph) Crocco of Pleasantville, N.Y. one brother, Al (Annie) D’Antonio of Port St.Lucie, FL. also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Gabriella and Ralphie Prospero and Sofia Rae and Jo-Jo Crocco. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov.6,2022 from 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either, American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN. , would be appreciated.
