Kathleen M. Dorney 69, most recently of Lakewood, NJ and formerly of
Mahopac and Bronx, N.Y. died on May 19, 2013. She was born on Feb.18, 1944 to the late Edmund and Bridget (nee Donoghue) Cotter in Bronx, N.Y. Kathleen was a retired
teachers aide with the Lakeland Central School District. She was predeceased by her
devoted husband Michael Dorney in 2006 and one brother, Dennis Cotter. Kathleen is
survived by her loving son, Michael (Valerie Morris) Dorney of Hamden, Conn. and one sister, Anne Lenzinger of Ardsley, N.Y. also survived by her cherished grandchildren,
Mikey Dorney and Nicole Acampora. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday, 11 AM. Interment to follow.
