Julia Ann (Mulvaney) McGee, 51, Yonkers, NY

Julia Ann McGee, 51 of Yonkers, NY, was surrounded by her loving family and friends on Friday, May 20, 2022 at St. John’s Riverside Hospital, Yonkers, NY, when she peacefully left this world to be with our Lord and those she loved who went before us.

Julia was born to Raymond and Gail (Schlegel) Mulvaney on September 30, 1970 in Yonkers, New York and was the youngest of five children, Liz Mulvaney, Michael Mulvaney, Willy (Stacey) Mulvaney and Raymond (Amy) Mulvaney.

Julia is survived by her Husband and love of her life, Christopher T. McGee, and had found true love and happiness with Chris when they met and then married in June of 2019.

Julia’s most cherished gift was the apple of her eye, daughter, Victoria Jayne Grolli of Hawthorne, NY. Julia’s life revolved around her husband, her “Tori Belle”, her work family at LRC Construction and her immediate and extended family and friends. Her precious kitties CeeCeeBella, Oscar & Lulu will also miss their Momma tremendously.

Julia is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kelly Anne, Meghan Elizabeth, Melissa Rose, Brian Mark, Kayla Rose, Christopher Robert, Lia Marie and Robert Raymond Mulvaney.  Each one had a special bond with their aunt.  They loved and were loved and adored by their Aunt Julie.  She was each one’s biggest cheerleader, confidante and playmate.  Whether it was Disney World, a college softball game, Yankee, Giants/Jets game, or ATVing “Up The Country”, when Aunt Julie was involved, there would be fun and shenanigans.

Julia’s continued co-parenting relationship with her former husband, Vinny Grolli throughout the years, along with his entire family, was one of mutual respect and love.

Julia is also survived by her Mother in Law, Beth McGee, Father in Law, Steve McGee, Brothers in Law, Patrick and Matthew McGee.

Whether you worked with her back in the day or went out for fun time at night, if Julie was with you, no doubt it would be memorable.  Laughs, smiles, sarcasm and lots of fun were sure to be had.  St. Patrick’s Day was a favorite day of Julie’s as she was very proud of her Irish heritage, as well as the German side, but the Emerald Society & YFD Pipes & Drums got her every time!

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Bartholomew’s Church, Yonkers, NY on Wednesday 10:30 AM. Interment private.
