Judith T. Rasher 79, of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. and formerly of Mt.Vernon and Thornwood, N.Y. died on May 8, 2010. She was raised in the Bronx. Judith is survived by her husband of 61 years, sHoward Wm. Rasher, 2 daughters Carol and Alice and as granddaughter Jessica and a brother Sam. She is predeceased by her son Peter. A 1952 graduate of Hunter College, City University of New York. Judith is a former President of the sisterhood of Sinai Temple of Mt.Vernon. She will be remembered as an avid Met fan, a cultural enthusiast and a civic minded woman. Judith will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Service, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday (today) 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
