It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Juan Giancarlo Rosalino on March 22nd, 2023. Juan was born on April 10th, 1985 in Lima, Peru to his loving parents, Juan and Elcira Rosalino. He was a cherished brother to Paul, Meellyn, and Johnny Rosalino, and an adored uncle to his niece Scarlett. Juan was a graduate of Mercy College, where he studied Information Technology. He was also an incredible hip-hop dancer and spent many years teaching children to express themselves through dance. He had a passion for movies and music, and was an excellent musician and accomplished drummer, having performed at Carnegie Hall. But what truly set Juan apart was his amazing outlook on life. He never sweated the small stuff and had a way of giving you a smile that could melt away all your problems. His pure angelic soul always put others' well-being and happiness ahead of his own. Juan truly was the best of us, and his warrior spirit will live on in the lives of his friends and family. Juan's wake will be held on Sunday, March 26th from 3-7 pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Hawthorne NY, followed by a funeral mass on Monday, March 27th at 10 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, also in Hawthorne, NY. Juan was a loving son, brother, and uncle with a heart of gold and the soul of an angel. He has taken away all of our excuses not to live life to the fullest, and his beautiful welcoming smile will forever be a reminder to never sweat the small stuff and to embrace all challenges with a warrior spirit. We will miss him dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and that his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
