Josephine Confalone

Josephine Francis Confalone was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend, who passed away on April 7, 2016. She was born on April 25, 1926 on Brookfield Street in White Plains. She was the loving daughter of Frank and Fulvia Pichi of White Plains, NY. She graduated from White Plains High School in 1945. Josephine married Romeo Confalone on July 1, 1951. They had a very strong and happy marriage. Josephine is survived by her daughter, Elaine and her husband Jaime Daniels of Hartsdale, NY and her son, Michael and his wife Vivian Confalone of Thiells, NY. She has six grandchildren – Jeffrey and Jessica Daniels, Robert and Kimberly Confalone and Jaclyn and Frank Confalone, Jr. She is also survived by her older sister Rose Toglia of White Plains, NY. One of her greatest joys was gardening. She will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and deeply missed by all. The Family will receive friends at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY on Sunday, April 10th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Mass will be on Monday, April 11th at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 92 S Lexington Avenue, White Plains, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association.
