Joseph Corrigan
July 20, 1934 — July 4, 2018
Joseph P. Corrigan passed away peacefully on 7/4/18. He was born on 7/20/34 and grew up in Plainfield, NJ. He is survived by two daughters, Caithlin Corrigan Fitzsimons and Mairéad Beaumont, two sons in law, three grandchildren, and two brothers, John and Robert. He and his wife, Goldie, raised a family in White Plains, NY. He served in the Army and earned his Ph.D in chemistry. Dr. Corrigan was the department chair at Hostos Community College before retiring to live in Brick, NJ, NYC and Oceanside, CA. He was an avid sailor with a quick wit and a warm heart who loved his family.
