Joseph S. Bromberg

Joseph S. Bromberg, 93, of New Rochelle, N.Y. passed away peacefully on March 8, 2014. He was born on July 25, 1920 to the late Ivor and Mollie (November) Bromberg in NYC. A graduate of CCNY, he was a retired manufacturer's representative in the furniture industry. He is survived by his devoted wife, Miriam (Powell); by his loving children, Maddy (James) Posig of Burlington, VT, Amy (Harry) Bromberg Funk of Minneapolis, MN and Richard Bromberg of Yonkers, N.Y.; and his sister, Helen (Leonard) Mendelsohn of Northridge, CA. He is also survived by his six cherished grandchildren, Andrea (Rob) Roley, Benjamin Bromberg, Daniel (Amy Amato) Bromberg, Wyatt Posig, and Sadie and Willie Bromberg Funk . Predeceased by his sister, Thelma Stern. Joe loved life and lived it to the fullest. Funeral Service, Kensico Cemetery Chapel, Valhalla, N.Y. on Tuesday (today) 1:00 PM, Interment to follow at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated
