John Ernest Wildgoose, Jr.

John Ernest Wildgoose Jr. was born in Coconut Grove, Miami Florida on June 26, 1956. He passed away peacefully, on December 3rd, 2022, in Advent Health Hospital while being surrounded by his family.

He attended Escuela Superior Eugenio Maria de Hostos in Mayaquez where his skills and love of basketball provided the opportunity to play the position of point guard on the Boys Varsity Basketball team. In his younger years, he worked as a casual worker for the United States Postal Service in New York. He enjoyed dancing and singing.

He will be remembered for his cheerful and energetic laughter, telling jokes and making people laugh. He is survived by his loving mother Laura Alers, his sisters, Annie Patria Wildgoose, and Elisa Jeannette Glass, his two sons John Ernest Wildgoose III and Christopher Curtis Wildgoose and his grandchildren Jonah Jayden Wildgoose, Juliana Alex Wildgoose, Jo'el Langston Wildgoose and Ethan Langston Wildgoose.
