John R. Martabano

John R. Martabano 66, of Bedford Hills, N.Y. died on Feb.3, 2012. He was born on Dec.29, 1945 to the late George and Anna May Martabano in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. John proudly served in the US Air Force. He was owner-operator of Martabano Service Center in Bedford Hills, N.Y. Mr. Martabano is predeceased by one brother Jim. John is survived by his devoted wife Karen Martabano of Cross River, N.Y. one daughter Christian Meyer of Virginia, two brothers; Chris (Sarah) Martabano, Thomas Martabano and two sisters Susan and Joan Martabano. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. John enjoyed flying his airplane and fishing in Montauk. He was a one of a kind compassionate man who gave all of himself to the ones he loved. He will be deeply missed. Memorial Mass St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mt.Kisco, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to Food Bank for Westchester would be appreciated.
