John V. Burke 77, of North White Plains, N.Y. died on Feb.11,2022. He was born on March 25, 1944 to the late John and Mary (nee Rattigan) Burke in White Plains, N.Y. He was a retired Carpenter with Carpenters Local 53 in White Plains, N.Y. John is survived by his loving sisters, Mary Layton of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., Lucy Stearns of Jamestown, RI. and Eileen (John) Reilly of Pleasantville, N.Y. and Kathleen O'Keefe of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Peter Doorley. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb.16, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
