Jean Broussard

Jean Broussard 88, most recently of Trumbull, CT and formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Oct.31, 2015 at her residence. She was born on Feb.15, 1927 to the late Stephen and Mary Stevenson in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. Jean worked for Verizon for 20 years retiring in 1992. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Broussard in 2013, one brother and five sisters and is survived by her loving children, Mark Broussard of Holly Ridge, NC, Roswell (Debbie) Broussard of Scottsdale, AZ, Stephen (Laurie) Broussard of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Mary Broussard of Trumbull, CT and Carol (David) Romeu of New City, N.Y. one sister, Elaine Wrede of Brewster, N.Y. and one brother, George Stevenson of Brookline, Mass. Also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren and one great grandson. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 3-6 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimers Assoc. would be appreciated.
