Jay Yancy Brown

Jay Y. Brown, 51, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022. Jay is survived by his two children, Jay Jr. and Yolanda; two grandchildren; mother, Debra; siblings, Arron and Jacqueline-twin sister; nephew, Kenny; nieces, Mekiah and Jozlyn; sister-n-law, Shamika. He was predeceased by his father, and his brother Kenneth, and many cousins.

Anyone who knew Jay, knew he missed his true calling as a comedian. Jay loved to laugh and make people laugh. His alter ego "Kikin" was affectionately known and loved by many since childhood. Jay was a loving hardworking man who found a passion for what he did. Jay was a Tow truck driver for Empire State Recovery & Towing in White Plains, NY for which he worked for 25 years. In addition to his relatives, Jay absolutely loved his job and his work family-notably, Jon Vieni. Although we are devastated and shocked by his passing, we will remember Jay's infectious laugh, big smile, personality and mostly his big heart.
