Janice Ruth Fenty

Janice Ruth Fenty, 86, of White Plains, New York, passed away on June 22, 2022. Janice was born on October 30, 1935 to Gertrude DeCaro and Joseph Perrone in The Bronx, New York. She was the oldest of three siblings: sister Charlene and deceased brother George & deceased sister Joann. Widow to John Albert Fenty, and mother to Kim Tucci, Janice was an amazingly strong and independent woman. She worked on Wall Street for her entire career; a business woman through and through, she became the first woman to be President of the Cashier’s Association. Janice had many wonderful talents and hobbies throughout her life. She had a passion for food
and was an excellent cook. She could read a book a day and loved mystery crime novels. As an artist, she created beautiful paintings and could sew just about anything. Her generosity and kindness for the ones she loved was incredible. If you knew Jan, as so many of her friends would call her, you knew a very direct and trustworthy person. She loved and cared for her family very deeply, always making her home a warm and comforting place. She will be missed dearly.

Janice is remembered by her daughter and best friend Kim Tucci, grandchildren Rachel Tucci, Joseph Tucci, and Vincent Tucci Jr.; sister Charlene Terenghi and brother-in-law Charles Terenghi.
