In Loving Memory of Jane Proctor Benedict

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Proctor Benedict, who passed away on July 8th, 2026 in Carmel, NY at the age of 84.

Born on June 6, 1942, Jane was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Throughout her life she found joy in spending time with those she loved.

Jane was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mildred Proctor and Philip Proctor, niece, Annie, and her grandson, Matthew.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick, sister, Jacquelyn P. Varvaro, her loving children, Joel and his wife Inez, John and his wife Rita, and Tommy and his wife Barbara, her grandchildren, Lauren, Kayla, Brittney and Brianna; and her great-grandson, Carson.

Jane will be remembered by her family and friends for the life she lived and the memories she leaves behind. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
