James A. Packes

James A. Packes Sr. of Dobbs Ferry, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, December 6, 2021 at his home. He was 83 years old. He was born in the Bronx, NY. James was a successful businessman and served in the Army National Guard where he attained the rank of sergeant. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy and his son, Bernard.

He is survived by his two sisters, his brother, three sons and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and grandchildren.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec.15, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Thursday, 10:15 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
