Born in Costa Rica, Isabel Nunez came to America legally in 1974 in search of the American Dream. She began working in housekeeping at Howard Johnson and eventually found her place at the YWCA, where she worked for over 25 years. She later finished her career as a Union member, maintaining the Westchester County Courthouse and making sure J.Pirro’s office was immaculate.
Isabel was caring and would give her last dollar to those in need. She was a fighter, and the staff at White Plains Hospital loved her, the nurses felt her great vibes. She is survived by her son, Ralph A. Nunez.
