Hilda Avalos

Hilda was born in Lima, Peru, where she grew up with her mother, her brother, and a close-knit extended family. She worked for Peru's Ministry of Education and later at Ricardo Palma University before bravely leaving Peru in her twenties to begin a new life in the United States.

Her life in the United States opened the door to many beautiful adventures, including becoming a mother to her daughter, Jessica. She was a strong, brave, and deeply caring woman to the people she loved. She earned her commercial driver's license and proudly became a school bus driver, a job she loved because of her genuine affection for children.

Her granddaughter, Isla, was the love of her life, and she adored her deeply. Hilda believed in living with courage, following your heart, and staying true to yourself. She made sure those around her understood the importance of doing the same.

Hilda passed away at the age of 79. Her family and everyone who knew her will miss her deeply and carry her in their hearts always.

Hilda nació en Lima, Perú, donde creció junto a su madre, su hermano y una familia extensa y muy unida. Trabajó para el Ministerio de Educación del Perú y posteriormente en la Universidad Ricardo Palma, antes de emprender con valentía, a sus veinte años, una nueva vida en los Estados Unidos.

Su vida en los Estados Unidos le abrió las puertas a muchas aventuras hermosas, entre ellas convertirse en madre de su hija, Jessica. Fue una mujer fuerte, valiente y muy cariñosa con las personas que quería. Obtuvo su licencia de conducir comercial y se convirtió con orgullo en conductora de autobús escolar, un trabajo que disfrutaba por su verdadero cariño hacia los niños.

Su nieta, Isla, fue el amor de su vida, y la adoraba profundamente. Hilda creía en vivir con valentía, seguir el corazón y ser fiel a uno mismo. Se aseguraba de que quienes la rodeaban entendieran la importancia de hacer lo mismo.

Hilda falleció a los 79 años. Su familia y todos los que la conocieron la extrañarán profundamente y la llevarán siempre en el corazón.
