Helen Schulz, a 56 year resident of Hawthorne, died peacefully in her sleep on June 7, 2022.  Helen was the daughter of Mary (Liberatori) and John Feaster and was raised and educated in the Bronx.  After graduating from the Academy of the Sacred Heart of Mary, she married the love of her life, Charles  E. Schulz at Our Lady of Victory Church  on September 10, 1955.  She was predeceased by her husband in 1982, and later, her parents and brother, John Feaster.

She was an avid reader, a book club attendee, and an accomplished needlework and knitting artist.  Helen shared her love of knitting with many of her family members and friends.  She was a dedicated member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Town of Mount Pleasant Seniors, where she spent many hours serving others as an officer and volunteer.

In addition to her interests in serving others, Helen spent many years employed by several small companies in Westchester in the accounting field and was part owner of Hel-Mar Knit Shop in Hawthorne.

She was a loving mother to her children, Bill (Barbara) of Pleasantville, NY, Charles (Susan) Schulz of Mahopac, NY, Elizabeth (Bill) Davis of Armonk, NY, and John (Gloria) of Sandy Springs, GA.  She is survived by her eleven beloved grandchildren, Lindsay (Kevin), Charles, Timothy, Jennifer, Kevin (Lindsey), Carly, Grace, Allison, Katie, Eric and Kristen, and by her two cherished great-grandchildren Henry and Camden.    Helen is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family members.  She also will be remembered by her loving neighbors on Willis Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, Helen has asked loved ones to consider a donation to the Altar Rosary Society, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
