Giuseppina D'Avella

Giuseppina D'Avella, 86, passed away and entered her new eternal life January 1, 2021. She was born March 11, 1934 in Striano, Napoli, Italy to Ferdinando and Lucia Gatti. She migrated to the United States in 1972, and was a long time White Plains resident. She was a beautiful, caring woman full of life and never tired. She welcomed all into her home to feed or just for a cup of coffee. She loved to sing and dance. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She was a devoted Wife, loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Giuseppina is survived by her children, Sam (Carmela), Lucio (Barbara), Lina (Aldo), Anna, Gina, Lino (Mary), many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Sebastiano D'Avella. With COVID a concern, private family services will be held.
