Giovanna Zucconi

Giovanna Zucconi, 88 years, of Valhalla, New York, passed away on April 16, 2023. Giovanna was born on March 29, 1935, in Parma, Italy, to parents Giulio and Luisa Pignoli. She was an avid reader, an excellent cook, loved live theater, and especially world travel. She was preceded her loving husband Aldo, her sister Ermina Pedroni, of Parma, Italy. She is survived by her sister Rosa Colla, of Parma, Italy. Her children Giulio (Susan), and Louise Gonzalez (Angel), grandchildren Aldo Zucconi, and Alexander Gonzalez, and many nieces and nephews.  A viewing will be at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20th, from 4-8.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 21st, at 10 am at Holy Name Of Jesus Church in Valhalla.  Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne NY
