Gertrude Ann DiGregoria

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Trudy DiGregoria, who passed away on August 25th, 2026 at the age of 86.

Born on February 21, 1940 in Manhattan, Trudy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She met her husband, Boniface (Barney), at just 14 years old; spending 62 years together. They started their family in the Bronx; moving to Hawthorne, NY in 1976 where they resided for 50 years.

Trudy was a devout Catholic. On Sunday mornings you could find her at Holy Rosary Church singing above everyone else; albeit off key. She loved to knit, read and travel, but her greatest joy was hosting the holidays in traditional Italian style.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, John (Linda) DiGregoria, Corey DiGregoria and Deneen DiGregoria; grandchildren, Lauren (Joey), Danielle (Gaurav), Stephen (John), Nicole, Anthony and Aaden, as well as her great-grandson, James.

Trudy will now be reunited in glory with her beloved husband, Barney, her parents, Gennaro & Elvira Corrieri, as well as her siblings Jean Popaduke and Sonny Corrieri, who preceded her in death.
