George Enrique Puello, passed on August 21, 2019. He is best known for his work at Westchester Broadway Theatre where he served as Artistic Director for over 25 years. He has also worked extensively in theater throughout Westchester County, New York State and New Jersey. He loved teaching theater as much as he loved directing, choreographing and designing sets. George taught many who enjoyed Broadway stardom, and was most proud of creating the Westchester Dreamcoats singers, which included children of varying ages and backgrounds. George is the composer of numerous musical plays, including Cleopatra and Parusia. He is survived by his sister Oneida, brothers Jose and Cesar, nieces Arianna, Zunie and Millicent and nephew Gaar. He is predeceased by his partner Joseph Panko. The family would like to thank the friends, students, performers and associates who knew George and shared in his love of life and theater.
