George M. Dickie, Jr. 90 of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on March 23, 2014. He was born on May 19, 1923 to the late George and Louise Dickie, Sr. in Bronx, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. George was a retired credit mgr. for GMAC in NYC. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jean Dickie of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving children, George M. Dickie, III and his wife Linda of Gansevoort, N.Y. and Laura Wallace and her husband Kevin of Buckingham, PA one sister, Joan Dickie of Washington, DC and three cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Aileen and Brendan Wallace. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Thursday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
