Genevieve Weglarz

Genevieve Weglarz 83, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Jan. 6, 2019. She was born on Jan. 21, 1935 to the late Thomas and Bertha (nee Wildchirt) Piekarski in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was very kind and considerate and always had nice things to say about everyone and not a mean bone in her body. Genevieve was predeceased by her devoted husband, Kazimierz Weglarz in 1988 and two brothers. She is survived by her loving children, Theresa (Michael) Gray of Hawthorne, N.Y., Thomas (Diane) Weglarz of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. and Gerard (Jacinta) Weglarz of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Amanda Weglarz and Kevin and Samantha Gray. one sister and good friend, Joseph DeNault of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. (no visiting hours) Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of one’s choice, would be appreciated.
