Frederic Francis Kastner

Frederic Kastner passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at the age of 93 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Frederic was born December 7, 1926 in Union City, NJ. Frederic spent his youth in New York City and Miami Beach, FL. He received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, served in the U.S. Army in Germany, and worked for the State of New Jersey. Frederic had a passion for books and will be remembered as a true gentleman and kind soul. Frederic was preceded in death by his brothers John and George, father, John, and mother, Rose. He is survived by his sister, Catherine (Robert), nephew, Rob (Monica), niece, Maria (David), and six grandnephews and grandnieces. Frederic will be buried at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. A memorial Mass will be held at a later time.
