Fred J Scarola

Fred J. Scarola, age 85, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in Middletown, NY. Fred was born October 7, 1926 to Vito Scarola and Maria (Pagano) Scarola in New York, New York. He was a graduate of Fordham University and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After serving his country, he shared a family ice business in New York City. He eventually retired from the ice business and moved to Warwick, New York.

Fred is survived by two sons, Vito and wife Marla Scarola of Blacksburg, VA; and Fidele Scarola of Warwick; and a brother, John Scarola and sister, Rose Tricarico. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Scarola, and his parents.
