Francis Robert Feeney Jr.

Francis Robert Feeney, Jr. of Thornwood, N.Y. passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was 91 years old.  He was born March 30, 1931 in White Plains, N.Y. The son of Francis Robert Feeney, Sr. and Mary (Deegan) Feeney.  Frank served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was a retired member of the City of White Plains Fire Department and served for 23 years as a firefighter.  Those who knew Frank “Pooker” will always remember his incredible sense of humor, his love for bagpipes, Saint Patrick's Day parades and stopping by his favorite local  Pubs.  He had a love for sports, watching baseball (Red Sox) and football (N.E. Patriots).

Frank is survived by his devoted wife Lucille, his children Gail (Craig), James (Adele), Donald (Lisa) and Francis III (Amy).  Stepchildren Kimberly (Sedrick) and Don.  As well as his Sisters-In-Law, Shirley (Bob) and Lorene (George). Also,  15 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his daughter Beth, brother Richard and two sisters, Jeanne and Ruth.

We will always miss Frank and know that he will live on in our hearts, memories and prayers forever.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 12:15 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 170 Bradhurst Avenue, Hawthorne, N.Y.  Graveside Services will immediately follow the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Avenue, White Plains, N.Y.
