Elizabeth M. Ciulla, born August 2, 1949, passed away on October 25, 2026. She lived a life defined by compassion, kindness, and a deep dedication to helping others.

Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of James V. and Elizabeth H. (Marron) Ciulla. She was also a cherished sister to Jim and loving sister-in-law to Carla. Her family held a special place in her heart, and she treasured the love and memories they shared throughout her life.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Valhalla High School and Fordham University. She continued her education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she earned her Physician Assistant degree. She went on to build a career in cardiology at Westchester County Medical Center, where she devoted herself to caring for others and making a difference in the lives of her patients.

Her compassion extended far beyond her profession life. Elizabeth had a generous heart and was always there for her family members and friends, offering her care, support, and love whenever it was needed. Helping others was not simply her profession; it reflected who she was.

In her younger years, Elizabeth enjoyed Martial Arts and learning about the art of Chinese medicine. Elizabeth was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Valhalla, where her faith was an important part of her life.

She also had a special love for animals and found great joy in caring for them. Her beloved dogs, Misty and Laddie, held a particularly special place in her heart and where cherished companions.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her caring nature, her devotion to those she loved, and the countless ways she touched on the lives of others. Her legacy lives on in the people she helped, the friendships she treasured, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation on Wednesday, October 28 from 3-7 pm at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home of Hawthorne, 21 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY.
