Elizabeth Kuranowski

Elizabeth Kuranowski, 61, of Ossining, New York, passed away on February 21st, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home.

Elizabeth was born on September 26th, 1962, in Warsaw, Poland, and was the youngest of three children to the late Josef and Jadwiga Skwarylo.

She immigrated to the United States in 1992 to join her husband in building a family. She dedicated her life to her children and supporting her husband. She enjoyed spending weekends upstate and playing with her cat, Oreo.

She is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Ewa.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother Krzysztof, spouse Waldemar, two children, Krystian and Kevin, as well as daughter-in-law Anna and family.

The family would like to especially thank Elizabeth's nurses and support team for the unwavering care and affection that was given during her hospice.

The Kuranowski family will host a memorial service on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at 11:00am. The service will be held at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church in Ossining, NY. A private burial will take place on March 4th at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society in support of pancreatic cancer awareness.
