Edmundo Eleazar Bermudez San Martin

Edmundo Bermudez of Lima, Peru and formally of West Harrison, NY died on November 11, 2018.  A decendent of General Jose de San Martin (Liberator of Argentina, Chile and Peru), Edmundo was born September 14, 1935 in Lima, Peru to Eduardo Bermudez Maura and Maria Josefina San Martin Frayssinet. Edmundo received an Associates degree from Westchester Community College. He was a Systems Analyst for IBM retiring on June 30, 1993. Edmundo enjoyed tennis and photography. He is survived by his wife Cecilia nee Neumann, daughters, Cecilia (Scott) of New Rochelle, Vanessa (Marc) of New Fairfield, CT, grandchildren, Alexa and Aiden, brother, Eduardo (Luisa) of Peru, Cecilia ( the late Randolfo) of Peru, nephew, Paul of England, nieces, Gabriella of Peru, Fiorella of Spain and many cousins. He was predeceased by  his sister Liliana. Memorial Visitation will be from 2-6 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 5PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association and Praxair Cancer @ Danbury Hospital Foundation Office, 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810.
