Yorktown Heights resident Edith J. Misiti, 78, passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2026.
Edith was born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 11, 1948, to Alessandro and Tomasina Saraniero. Edith married Nicholas J Misiti on June 21, 1969. Nicholas Misiti passed away peacefully in November of 2020. Nicholas and Edith were married 51 years. She is survived by her three children, Christopher, Daniel, and Gina.
Edith was best known for her piercing blue eyes and her deep devotion to her family. She found great joy in baking, cooking, attending Broadway shows, and dancing with her eldest sister during family gatherings.
She was predeceased by her brothers Alex and Stephen and is survived by her sister, Victoria.
