Dorothy Pugliese

Born on August 2, 1927, Departed on September 5, 2024, Dorothy Pugliese, a resident of West Harrison, NY passed away at her home on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Dorothy was married to the late Joseph Pugliese on May 5, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa. They were married for 62 years. Dorothy worked for the Bank of New York as Assistant Treasurer for many years. Dorothy will be dearly missed by her daughter Catherine Martin and Gina Sherman, Les Van Nostrand and her grandchildren Ken and Lauren Martin, Nicole and Chris Mathsen and great grandchildren Taylor and Joey Martin and Matteo Mathsen. Dorothy leaves behind her brother Charles Serra and sister Rosemary Acri. She was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Raymond Serra, sisters Lucrecia Fazio and Frances McNaney. She loved Face Book; especially, when her grandkids and great grandkids were on. Bingo at Seniors and Mt. Carmel were her favorite. She was a warm, loving person. Her door was always open. She was a fabulous cook, and her Christmas Eve dinners were the best! She cooked them until she was 96!
