Dolores Polidore

Dolores (LaRocco) Polidore, a resident of Thornwood, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on February 10, 2025; at the age of 95. She was born in Yonkers, NY on October 22, 1929, daughter of the late Nicholas & Carmen (Greco) LaRocco. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the United Parcel Services (UPS) until she retired.

Dolores is survived by her 4 daughters: Denise (Joseph) Riccardi, Jennifer Pompilio, Toni (James) Vetrano and Barbara (Raymond) Vetrano. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Lisa Pompilio, Frank Pompilio, Joseph Riccardi, Dana Vetrano, Raymond Vetrano, Nicholas Vetrano and Robert Polidore; also her 10 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Polidore; her granddaughter Tina Pompilio; her two brothers Ronald LaRocco Rocco Louis LaRocco.

Her Family will receive Friends on Thursday, February 13th from 4-8PM at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10AM, Friday, February 14th at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 2 Broadway, Valhalla, followed by interment to Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
